- Allow me to customize the toolbar that appears across the top of all Google sites/services. All I want to be able to do is specify the order of the links and decide which always appear and which are listed under more.
- Update iGoogle.

A few things I would have preferred Google work on instead of Google+

1. Agreed on the first point. Because of Google+, this is more than likely to happen as time goes on.
ReplyDelete2. I don't use iGoogle as I find it's too seductive to clutter it with CPU sapping JavaScript widgets when I just want a simple Google search home page. Besides, they'll probably just fold iGoogle into Google+ anyway when it's popularity takes off and it comes out of beta.
3. Not sure how much more customization you want out of Google News. It already has some good controls for adding/removing sections, changing layout, and whitelisting/blocklisting news sources.
For google news:
ReplyDelete1. More flexible layout options for the page (more than 1 columns, more control over what to display)... increase info density
2. Update general look of the page to reflect recent Google UI changes
3. Better sorting options (sort by date?)
4. Ability to mix news and RSS feeds blocks on one page (or add ability to add news blocks on iGoogle.)
